On April 10, 2026, the 7th Oil and Oilseeds Industry Development Conference, jointly organized by Global Agri-Procurement System and the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce and Animal By-products(CFNA), was grandly held in Chengdu. The conference brought together representatives from domestic and international industry associations, leading enterprises, and investment and research institutions to engage in in-depth discussions on core topics such as industry information sharing, technological innovation breakthroughs, and sustainable development pathways, with the aim of building industry consensus and promoting high-quality development in the oil and oilseed sector. Wu Shupeng from CCFT Holdings Pte. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “our company”) was invited to attend the conference.

With the core theme of “Connecting the World, Creating the Future with Intelligence, and Building a New Development Pattern for the Edible Oils and Oilseeds Industry,” the conference featured a carefully curated program including policy interpretation, market analysis, technical seminars, and roundtable discussions. It provided attendees with a multidimensional, high-level platform for exchange and cooperation, facilitating comprehensive sharing and in-depth exchange of industry insights. Currently, global geopolitical conflicts continue to escalate, macroeconomic growth is slowing, and inflationary pressures are rising, presenting numerous uncertainties for the development of the oil and oilseed industry. Experts and scholars in attendance unanimously agreed that while global oilseed market supply remains generally adequate, the market landscape is undergoing a profound restructuring. Domestically, the oilseed planting structure continues to optimize, and the diversification of import channels is progressing steadily; however, the contradiction between slowing demand growth and rising production costs is becoming increasingly prominent. In the future, enterprises must focus on ensuring supply security, implementing precise cost control, and hedging market risks, while prioritizing core opportunities such as the cultivation of specialty oilseeds and the development of a diversified supply system.

During the conference, our company’s representative, Wu Shupeng, engaged in multiple rounds of in-depth discussions with industry peers and experts from both domestic and international sectors. They thoroughly exchanged views on hot topics such as the impact of the U.S.-Iran conflict on the global oilseed and edible oil trade landscape and the industry’s supply-demand trends for 2026. This enabled the precise acquisition of core information, including first-hand supply-demand data, market forecast analyses, and assessments of industry development trends for the current year. This participation not only broadened our company’s industry perspective but also laid a solid foundation for the Group’s strategic planning, market expansion, and risk management regarding the edible oils and oilseeds business in 2026, further enhancing our company’s industry insight and influence in the global edible oils and oilseeds trade sector.
