On April 24, 2026, the symposium titled “Global Energy Shifts and Commodity Market Restructuring: Frontiers in Derivatives Innovation and Risk Management,” jointly organized by Nanhua Singapore Pte. Ltd., Bank of China (Singapore) Branch, and the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange Singapore Working Group, was held at Bank of China (Singapore). Industry professionals from various sectors gathered to discuss new trends in industry development and explore new approaches to risk management. Sun Fang, Business Manager of CCFT Holdings Pte. Ltd., (hereinafter referred to as “our company”), was invited to attend the conference.

As a high-level exchange platform focused on the commodities and derivatives sectors, this conference, set against the backdrop of the current global macroeconomic environment and the restructuring of industrial chains, featured in-depth discussions and experience sharing on core topics such as trade finance risk management, the international expansion of commodity exchanges, trends in the energy industry, and asset fluctuations in financial markets. It built an efficient communication bridge for participating enterprises and provided multi-dimensional, actionable professional insights and practical references.

At the conference, a spokesperson from Bank of China shared practical experience and operational techniques regarding commodity trade finance risk management; a representative from the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange introduced its international product portfolio and market development trends, with a focus on analyzing the role and value of China’s futures market within the global commodity system. Industry guests, drawing on practical case studies, interpreted the development trends and risk management pathways of the polyester industry chain amid adjustments in the global energy landscape, offering new practical insights for corporate hedging and risk mitigation. From a macro-financial perspective, a financial markets expert from the Bank of China analyzed the logic behind the evolution of currencies and major asset classes amid global shifts, examining exchange rates and asset allocation, and elucidated the interplay between foreign exchange volatility and commodity prices. Finally, a representative from Nanhua Singapore Pte. Ltd. introduced the pathways and advantages of participating in the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE) market through their platform, providing case references for overseas enterprises seeking to access the Chinese futures market and utilize derivative instruments.

During the conference, our company’s Manager Sun engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges with attendees from banking institutions, exchanges, and upstream and downstream sectors of the industrial chain. Drawing on our company’s business strategy and practical experience, he shared insights on topics such as commodity trade risk prevention and control, as well as the practical application of derivative instruments. At the same time, he actively studied cutting-edge industry perspectives and explored opportunities for cooperation and future development.

Participating in this conference not only deepened our company’s understanding of structural changes in the commodities market, innovative applications of derivative instruments, and cross-border risk management systems, but also provided a clearer and more profound insight into the internationalization process of China’s futures market and its interconnections with global markets. Moving forward, our company will fully draw upon the advanced insights gained from this conference. By integrating these with our own business practices, we will optimize our risk management system and actively utilize derivatives to hedge against market risks, thereby supporting the company’s steady growth in the global commodities market.
